Turning to a wide angle view we see crimsom verticle streaks of rain.
Color now surrounds me. This view is to the northeast.
Back to the west one last shot and the sunset surrenders to the night.
Sunset looking nearly southwest, rain clouds to the south and open sky to the west.
Moments later still looking southwest the rain increases but the sun shines through.
Same direction, a wider view shows the turbulance in the clouds and the calm rainbow.
A little different exposure shows more of the rainbow and storm.
Now at its maximum, the full scope of the rainbow's arch can be seen.
Looking northeast the base of a giant rainbow appears to touch the top of the high rise at Baptist Memorials Geriatric Center.
I took this photo a minute before sunset and the rainbow disappeared moments later. As we all know, it takes both sun and rain to make a rainbow.
